That all happened in May 5th 2021 and I did try a "repair" or something like that, (I can't recall exactly what I did anymore) but whatever I tried just wasted my time. Somehow, they changed the stand-alone version to Acrobat DC and then said my ".trial period was over", LOL. Adobe CC had no problem with it when it was running on my Windows 7 system. That's because I never bought or installed Acrobat DC.īut I had Acrobat XI Pro, (purchased & installed on 10-24-20). It said that my Adobe CC plan didn't include "Acrobat DC" and they were right. Well, that cost me about $125 because my legally purchased, stand-alone version, of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, was 'overwritten' somehow.

The last time I let Adobe update my paid-for, installed, Adobe CC programs, was after I built a new computer from the ground up, which included the motherboard, processors, and even the O/S, (I had Win 7 but changed to Win 10 Pro via a disc installation for the new system build).
However, it's not doing anything because I hit the "Cancel" when I see that statement about updating all apps. (Note: This app installs and updates all Adobe creative apps and services.)" "Photoshop is being installed by the Creative Cloud Desktop App. I'm sure this means it'll update Photoshop and Lightroom, (which I rarely use), but if I switch off the Adobe CC auto update, I'm left with the page that says: "Photoshop is now installing." Then below that it says: So far, when I select the "Update" option in Photoshop/Help tab, it opens the Adobe CC and wants to update the Adobe CC. I want to update Only the Photoshop program, nothing else.
